DIY Hood Fitting
The hood can be fitted by the DIY enthusiast. No special tools are required and fitting instructions are included.
The hood is supplied ready to fit to the frame. It attaches to fixed points on the frame and pre punched plastic extrusions are attached to the hood to allow for an easier installation. The approximate DIY fitting time is 8 hours.
Alternatively, the can have the hood fitted by a car trimmer or specialised hood fitter in your area. You should allow for approximately 8 hours of labour.
Mobile Hood Fitting Service
Prestige Car Hoods (South) provide a mobile hood fitting service in the Greater London area and the South of England. Prices vary depending on location. Please call +44 (0)151 643 9555 for more information and prices.
Office hours are 9am-5pm Mon-Thur and 9am-3pm Friday.
Factory Hood Fitting Service
Prestige also offer a hood fitting service at our factory headquarters in Birkenhead, North West England (Appointment required). The cost of fitting is £432.00 including VAT.
A factory hood fitting can be added to your order from the website and a member of our sales team will contact you to arrange an appointment. Alternatively, you can book a hood fitting over the phone by calling +44 (0)151 643 9555. Office hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 9am-3pm Friday.
The car will be required for approximately 7 hours. You can spend the time exploring Liverpool City Centre. We can drop you off at the local ferry terminal and you can take a ferry across the Mersey to the historic Liverpool water front.
